LISD provides a few different technology tools that allows families to stay connected with their student's academic progress and school activities overall.
Our student information system is called Qmlativ. Parents and guardians can access this systems for current grades, attendance, fees, and other student information. This site is password protected but users can use the same link to request a password reset.
LISD secondary teachers use Canvas, a learning management system to post course materials and assignments. Canvas shows students which assignments are coming due soon as well any they have missed. It shows a real-time calculation of their grade in each class. Parents/guardians can create a "Parent Account" where they can log into their students Canvas page and also view much of the same information. Canvas also has an app that both students and parents can use.

The school newsletter and other pertinent updates are sent out via ParentSquare, a robust communication tool that allows for tailored communications from school-wide announcements to individual classroom or group lists. Additionally, many of the forms families need to submit are available to fill out electronically via ParentSquare.
